Due to the sudden change of deadline, the team has scaled the game down to fit into the schedule. This is also because of the difficulties that we have met while trying to get an engine that is suitable for our need.
Explanation of New Gameplay

Unlike the previous gameplay, where the player investigates the unnatural deaths of his fellow P.I.G members and ultimately solving the mystery, we made the game more interesting by allowing the player to be immersed in being like the main lead of a horror movie. In this revised version of the game, the player has to still avoid from ghosts, shine torchlight ghost to chase them away. However, the player now has no clues of how to navigate around. This increases the tension of the game, as the player experiences moderate scare tactics that are planned into the game. Allowing us to instill fear in the player, we have restricted the player's view to strictly the flashlight's field of vision having a totally dark ambient. Making the game further interesting, the player has lesser information about the house and how to navigate around the house. The walls are all textured with the same texture creating confusion in the player, also the wall might have scribblings on it which some may be guides to allow the player to get to the final location but also there are some that might mislead the player.
The ultimate goal of the game is to reach the final location where will be preceded by a "final ghost fight". Yet, this is not easy as the player has to find keys and open locked doors to get to the final location. With a restricted view, total darkness as the surrounding, walls that all look the same, the player would be totally lost in the mansion if without a good sense of navigation.
Therefore, we project the game play to take about 30 minutes to 45 minutes depending on the situation where ghost are constantly pestering the player and scare tactics will shock the player causing the player to be more cautious in his movement.
